Evolving your practice and refining your education is part of being a great oncology nurse. Through continuing education opportunities, our members are always pushing themselves to provide better care for their patients.

At ONS, it’s our mission to provide you with the best resources you need to care for your patients. In an effort to accomplish your goal of providing excellent, evidence-based care, ONS offers a variety of free and discounted continuing nursing education (CNE) opportunities to ONS members.

Introducing ONS inPractice

In April 2016, ONS released the brand new inPractice resource. Developed for oncology nurses by oncology nurses, this clinical point-of-care resource can provide up to 51.6 contact hours in topics ranging from oncologic emergencies to the latest in targeted therapies, immunotherapies, and more.

From now until August 1, 2016, ONS members can try ONS inPractice for free. When you subscribe to this free trial, you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase access to it at a member-only discount. ONS has worked to provide oncology nurses with the resources they need to easily and efficiently complete their CNE requirements.

Courses and Activities

As oncology nurses, you understand how a busy schedule can get in the way of obtaining your CNE. At ONS, many of our CNE opportunities are self-paced courses and activities. ONS offers free on-demand courses in addition to member exclusive courses offered at a discounted rate. Learn about subjects such as chemotherapy, biotherapy, stress, and fatigue, among many others.
